Sono io che sbaglio o nei tuoi slackbuild (jimmi_page), lo slackbuild nvidia kernel e nvidia bumblebee agiscono sullo stesso sorgente?
ps.dico nei tuoi perchè gli altri non li ho letti quindi non saprei proprio...

Allora sto compilando con il tuo slackbuild nvidia-kernel. Mi crea il txz, però appena avevo lanciato lo slackbuild le prime righe dicevano:

a vero! dico cosaho fatto:
scaricato tuttii file compressi di jimmi_page e li ho decompressi.
Creato un nuovo gruppo chiamato bumblebee, aggiuntomi come utente, e riloggato.
Dopo di che di ognuno sono entrato nello slackbuild al suo interno modificato la voce arch con i486 e scaricato il sorgente da dove diceva la voce SOURCE.
Dopo di che ho lanciato gli slackbuild e installato i programmi nel seguente ordine:
libjpeg-turbo
VirtualGL
nvidia-bumblebee
nvidia-kernel
bumblebee
acpi_call

Infine lanciato i comandi:
# chmod +x /etc/rc.d/rc.bumblebee
# /etc/rc.d/rc.bumblebee start

Poi rientra, e dai, da root,

Se non va posta l'output di

PS:Comunque non dovevi scaricarti a mano tutti i sorgenti, gli SB avrebbero provveduto già da soli

e bastava dare

senza sostituire tutte le variabili ARCH (sarà stato un lavoraccio)

PPS: da root, apri il tuo file /etc/rc.local e aggiungi le seguenti righe

Non ho capito a cosa serva l'uscire e il rientrare senza compiere nessuna operazione... Comunque fatto tutto. Però il comando "optirun glxgears" se lo do da amministratore mi da:

p.s. dando un locate Xorg.8.conf non mi da nulla quindi probabilmente non esiste neanche quel file in tutto ilmio sistema.

Scusami, hai ragione. Era Xorg.8.log :lol:

Comunque ho capito il tuo problema: apri da root il file
/etc/bumblebee/xorg.conf.nvidia
e alla riga con BudID (se non c'è agguingila nella sezione "Device") metti questo:

e inpoche parole farebbe comparire degli ingranaggi che ruota in una finestra giusto? E come faccio a dirli (visto che da quanto ho capito la cosa per ora è ancora manuale e non automatica) usa questa scheda video, usa quest'altra.

Si, è proprio quello.
Se l'hai lanciato con optirun, allora gira sicuramente sull'nvidia.
Quindi funziona perfettamente.
Ora dobbiamo solo "spegnere" l'nvidia al boot, bumblebee può accenderla da solo quando viene avviato.
Per fare ciò bisogna
- Verificare che acpi_call sia caricato ( lsmod | grep acpi_call )
- Inserire due file di testo ( chiamati cardon e cardoff ) nella dir /etc/bumblebee ( ovviamente cardon è quello di accensione, cardoff quello di spegnimento)
- Modificare /etc/bumblebee/bumblebee.conf cambiando

con

e aggiungendo alla fine del file

Ragazzi scusate se mi metto in mezzo...seguendo i vostri consigli ho installato bumblebee su un portatile Asus X53Sc con Nvidia 520MX.
Dopo varie prove, configurazioni del kernel ricompilazioni ecc... optirun mi avviava glxgears (anche se a velocità misera 150-200fps).
Ora se ciò significa che la scheda Nvidia é utilizzata perchè non vanno gli effetti di KDE?
Il pannello di controllo dice che sono disabilitati per la mancanza di Xcomposite e un' altra libreria che non mi ricordo...
