[RISOLTO] CRASH KDE & SCHERMATA NERA CHROME

Messaggioda yAri » mer apr 02, 2014 21:55

Salve ragazzi. Ho installato Slackware 14.1 a 32 bit.
2) Utilizzo google chrome versione 31.0.1650.63.

ci sono solo gli stessi warnng del mio log;
quali siti ti danno la schermata nera?
con Chromium, anche se di rado lo uso al posto di Firefox, non mi è mai successo, potresti provarlo, ma non so è molto diverso da Chrome;

Ciao.

Disabilitando Composite
in Xorg.conf sparivano i problemi. Installando i driver Nvidia ho riabilitato composite.

Use one of the provided generic kernels for daily use. Do not report
bugs until/unless you have reproduced them using one of the stock
generic kernels. You will need to create an initrd in order to boot
the generic kernels - see /boot/README.initrd for instructions.

[...]try disabling the Composite extension (which will also
disable all of the fancy desktop effects). Place the following content in
a file at /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/disable-composite.conf:
Section "Extensions"
Option "Composite" "Disable"
EndSection

nel mio caso nouveau va benissimo, non ricordo se ho installato quelli proprietari e se davano problemi;
l'unico problemuccio che ho è che dopo alcune volte che lancio XP virtualizzato (solo per giocarci a Civ3) il sistema rallenta e a volte sembra bloccarsi, dovrei aspettare diversi minuti ma è più semplice (sono impaziente) riavviare;

http://www.slacky.eu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=33754
