hi, i really love GSlacky but would like to know if there is a way to put nautilus to open instead thunar in the personal folder option...

If i understand right (I hope)! Just open a new folder on the Desktop. The select it with right click. Go in the properties > open with and select your preferred file browser. That's all.

but i've tried but it's a bit more tricky...

we have the menu bar, the option in the middle is Places; there we have Personal folder, Desktop, bookmarks... also have Computer, dvd creator and network.
doesn't matter what i try, it always opens thunar instead nautilus, and lookin' the "open with" tab nautilus already is the default option...

i think it's gnome issue, not gslacky fault.

Mhh you're right, i have the same problem! After a search i find this topic http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=51869 i have also modified the /usr/share/applications/mimeinfo.cache like this

now the Places menu work again and open Nautilus by default.
