Why don't you share your work with Gslacky community? A Gslacky64 for slackware64-13.0 would be very interesting for all of us.
Think about that and let us know!

I would appreciate that... I'm already halfway done.

Now I'm working on PAM/polkit/GDM configuration for slackware, beacuse compilation was easy, but configurations is a problem

OK, I even reinstalled my slackware64 with KDE to be sure about compatibilities, but I'm thinking about no-pulseAudio since everything else is going fine...

Sorry Breier i'm completely busy with Slacky package. Now i have no time for GSlacky-2.28.*. But, are you using PAM for your setup

I'm afraid I cannot avoid PAM, after trying to make patches, and successfully compiling, I got no login... This is qhere I stuck implement PAM is something unavoidable till now.

I am trying to compile 3 versions, with-PAM, with-PAM and PulseAudio, and neither... only 64bits packages are been build, but their SlackBuilds have been saved

PulseAudio is a not-going-back stuff already.
So far, not including PAM is a choice. IMHO It's big time Slackware jumps on that insecure stuff and make us gnomERZ *happy*.
Oh, new NetworkManager requires fresher UDEV, let's roll back to NM-0.7 or 0.6 ... whatever : patch is still the way to go
Not to say "different day, same s**t", but I'm just glad my favorite desktop hasn't changed much
Strength to Gohanz & all gnome cats that work hard to have their desktop up and working

I have upgraded udev to use PolicyKit with DeviceKit and everithing else.
I also upgraded glib2 and gtk+2.

The problem with PAM, now I know, is inicialization. We need to change our RCs to be compatible with loading Slackware another way, It would change it a lot

I don't know if I go ahead changing Slackware so much

No purtroppo non ho tempo. Stiamo poi cercando di portare avanti il repository della 13.0 e ancora ci sono un migliaio di pacchetti da ricompilare.
Per quanto riguarda Gnome, ho visto che non ci sara' una versione 2.28.3, gli sviluppatori si sono fermati alla 2.28.2. Credo che siano tutti concentrati nello sviluppo della 2.30.0.
