after update im having this problem

Unable to start the settings manager 'gnome-settings-daemon'.
Without the GNOME settings manager running, some preferences may not take effect. This could indicate a problem with Bonobo, or a non-GNOME (e.g. KDE) settings manager may already be active and conflicting with the GNOME settings manager.

when accessing the appearance preferences. any idea?

when restarting im getting this error message:

There was an error starting the GNOME Settings Daemon.
Some things, such as themes, sounds, or background settings may not work correctly.
The last error message was:
Launch helper exited with unknown return code 127
GNOME will still try to restart the Settings Daemon next time you log in.

Take care with Slat-get. Some packages on Slacky can conflict with Gnome. Maybe the problem is related to the upgrade of "exempi" and " libxklavier" Run "/usr/libexec/gnome-settings-daemon" from console and check the missing libraries.
If the problem is really related to "exempi" and "libxklavier" remove both, and reinstall the original GSlacky-2.20.3 packages.
Are located in /packages/devlib and packges/dependencies.

dopo aver guardato i pacchetti ho visto che non sono molto diversi, non conviene mettere il pacchetto con la libreria vecchia e dopo installare la libreria nuova sopra (senza fare aggiornamento)? In questo modo mantieni il sistema aggiornato, ma nel contempo hai anche le librerie vecchie

Devo controllare questi pacchetti, vorrei capire il perchè di questi problemi.
