[RISOLTO] Programma audio per x64

Ciao,
mi piacerebbe trovare un valido programma di editing audio, ma non tanto per modificare i brani digitali (per quello uso audacity), quanto per gestire le tracce, un po' come il famoso Cubase.

Ho provato a compilare Rosengarden con lo slackBuild ma mi fermo di fronte alla richiesta 'DSSI header' che non trovo (per x64).

Programmi alternativi già pacchettizzati o di facile compilazione per slackware64?

a quanto ne so io, uno tra i migliori programmi della categoria è Ardour. Non so se in rete ci sono pacchetti per la Slackware, ma so che è un ottimo prodotto.
È open source ed è disponibile per Linux e Mac. È un programma nativamente per Linux. Solo dopo è uscita la versione per Mac (su richiesta degli utenti.

(per una volta, niente windows. quell'os non si merita programmi così validi )

Ho scaricato lo slackBuild e i sorgenti, nello slackBuild ho abilitato il supporto slv2 (ho installato la libreria) ma mi da errore:

Installa scons (qui a 64 bit, qui a 32 bit). È un build system alternativo agli GNU Autotools. basato su Python.

Ora è pacchettizzato ed installato, ma al primo avvio mi da:
Ardour could not start JACK

jack-audio-connection-kit-0.118.0-x86_64-1sl le ho installate...

Come faccio a sistemare sta cosa di JACK per far funzionare ardour??

In giro si parla di un certo /etc/set_rlimits.conf ma io nel mio sistema neanche ce l'ho...

jackd has to run with realtime priviledges. One way to do this on Slackware
would be to use set_rlimits. Since 12.2 there's another way. If you have
a filesystem that supports posix capabilities (reiserfs does not), you
can grant jackd the rights to run in realtime mode, even when started as
normal user with the following command:

setcap cap_ipc_lock,cap_sys_nice=ep /usr/bin/jackd

If you use qjackctl to start jack, it will need the same capabilities set
to be able to start jack as non-root user. You can use the same command
just with 'qjackctl' instead of 'jackd'

Ok, sono riuscito a farlo funzionare!
Ora devo capire come registrare (da quale ingresso), ci gioco un po'...
