mi trovo con un Dell Latitude e5500 nel tentativo di configurarne la connessione wireless.
I costruttori hanno avuto la bella idea su questo modello di assegnare un unico pulsante per l'attivazione del bluethoot e della scheda wireless, però, ovviamente, quando lo accendo vedo illuminarsi solamente la spia del bluethoot, e il wireless resta spento...
ho già installato il wicd che non trova alcuna rete wireless, inoltre il file /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1.conf sembra in regola

sinceramente non sono neanche riuscito a capire con esattezza quale sia il modello della scheda wireless perchè il comando lspci non mi è chiaro, infatti mi sembra restituire solo l'output di una scheda wired, ma giudicate voi

la cosa che mi spaventa di più è che non c'è alcuna traccia di schede wireless neppure da iwconfig
