Say NO to Trusted Computing

Welcome everybody :)

a small disclaimer...

I am a slacky.eu (ab)user, This page is the only thing of this website I'm directly involved into, I'm not the Slacky.eu admin so don't ask me about Slacky.eu management, ask him!!!
If you need some help with Slackware or Linux in general (or cooking, playing guitar, or everything else) go and join our forum now, you will get all the help you need... (I should say that forum is in italian, but I'm sure you'll get help in english too...)
I just want to spend a few lines to explain that I'm trying to follow the same line followed by the great absinthe in his page, but at the same time I don't want this page to look too similar to his one, in order to do so I'm stealing something here and there trying to build my original webpage...

why this page???

I don't know... ;)
I like to think of this page as a gift for... maybe for my 10000th time saying "thank you" to the Slacky.eu admin... :) well, maybe this "gift" is related to kslackysearch, a program I'm developing, or maybe the reason is the S4iD translation project I am working on...
ok ok, let's say that there are a few reasons for this page to exist, however, I hope you'll find it useful at least as much as it was funny for me to write it...

about my projects

Here at Slacky.eu I'm following a few projects, I'm taking care of the the S4iD translation project, a project aiming to translate Slackware 4 Dummies from italian to english, it would probably be the first time that something is translated in english from another language.
While I was trying to fullfill my needs I started writing kslackysearch, a small (right now) but useful program to help a slacker perform his everyday searches on the net.

On this webpage you will also find links to go and check out a few packages I've compiled and submitted to Slacky's admin as long as a few links to my SlackBuild scripts, I hope you'll like them...

accessibility

Do you like this page?? I'm trying to keep it accessible as much as I can, the menu on the right is made up of text only (and some rules in the CSS), I'm using just a few images, and I'm validating both the page and the stylesheet with the validators at w3c...
As you can see in the menu there are numbers enclosed between square brackets, theese are the so called access keys, theese keys lets the user browse trough the website using some shortcuts from the keyboard...
Unfortunately keyboard shortcuts depends on the browser and on the OS you are using so I don't know how they will look for you, all you can do is try a few key combination until you find out the one that fits your needs (and then you can tell it to me :D )

gnu gpl

Feel free to browse trough this website and try all my scripts and programs, they are all free software distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License v3 (as are my webpages and stylesheet too...) so you can use, modify and redistribute them (accordingly to the statements of the GPL of course ;D )
