Re: Problema riconoscimento scheda wifi
OK:
1: You've copied the folder b43 to the right place;
2: You've restarted your system;
3: Check if the module b43 is loaded `lsmod | grep b43` and if it's not, `modprobe b43`;
4: Check if now your board is listed in `iwconfig`;
If after this, it still doesn't work I would recompile the entire kernel...

Re: Problema riconoscimento scheda wifi
Si ho rimosso ndiswrapper ... si ho seguito la procedura di Brier .... mi sa che mi conviene ricompilare il kernel ... meglio mettere il 2.6.31 che avevo già compilato (male) ed installato o ricompilare il kernel base di slackware??

Re: Problema riconoscimento scheda wifi
If you still have ndiswrapper module it will interfers on kernel nativo module. On my procedure you have to remove ndiswrapper.
I recomend you to instal the kernel-huge-smp from slackware-13 dvd. But if it's not working, your problem should be more complex.
good luck

Re: Problema riconoscimento scheda wifi
Scuse me Brier if I didn't say that I'm already using the kernel-huge-smp cause I installed all the Slackware-DVD's softwares......! And for the last time .... yes I uninstalled ndiswrapper,so its driver did not interpose your suggested procedure... so I think that I'll recompile the 2.6.31 kernel! Do you think that will work with my Broadcom this time?

Il module b43 non viene caricato in automatico all'avvio.
