Se avete problemi con l'installazione e la configurazione di Slackware postate qui. Non usate questo forum per argomenti generali... per quelli usate Gnu/Linux in genere.

Regole del forum
1) Citare sempre la versione di Slackware usata, la versione del Kernel e magari anche la versione della libreria coinvolta. Questi dati aiutano le persone che possono rispondere.
2) Per evitare confusione prego inserire in questo forum solo topic che riguardano appunto Slackware, se l'argomento è generale usate il forum Gnu/Linux in genere.
3) Leggere attentamente le risposte ricevute.
4) Scrivere i messaggi con il colore di default, evitare altri colori.
5) Scrivere in Italiano o in Inglese, se possibile grammaticalmente corretto, evitate stili di scrittura poco chiari, quindi nessuna abbreviazione tipo telegramma o scrittura stile SMS o CHAT.
6) Appena registrati è consigliato presentarsi nel forum dedicato.

La non osservanza delle regole porta a provvedimenti di vari tipo da parte dello staff, in particolare la non osservanza della regola 5 porta alla cancellazione del post e alla segnalazione dell'utente. In caso di recidività l'utente rischia il ban temporaneo.

Ciao, da qualche giorno ho notato una cosa abbastanza noiosa che non sono ancora riuscito a risolvere e vorrei assolutamente eliminare...
<BR>mi collego ad Internet con l´ADSL utilizzando il comando adsl-start sulla mia slackware 10, il problema sta nel fatto che se da modalità grafica passa in uno dei terminali ad esempio il 6 (CTRL+ALT+F6) ogni 2 o 3 secondi viene scritta a video una stringa (circa una riga e mezza!) che inzia così
<BR>"IN=ppp0 OUT= MAC= SRC=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx DST=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx ...."
<BR>questo e molto fastidioso perché faccio fatica ad utilizzare i terminali!!! :-(
<BR>Qualcuno di voi ha lo stesso problema? Siete riusciti a risolverlo?

è iptables che logga i pacchetti che blocca. mi pare che puoi farlo apparire solo nel log messages con iptables --log-level info, o una cosa del genere. poi ci guardo bene e ti dico, nel frattempo smanetta! :-) <br>

ok, dopo provo. Mi dimenticavo di dire che questo problema è comparso nella versione 10 della Slackware.... prima non lo avevo.

mi puoi incollare lo script che ti tira su iptables?

<BR>in pratica dovresti aggiungere --log-level info a tutte le righe che hanno come target LOG. oppure (credo) riconfigurare syslogd, cosa che prima o poi dovrò imparare a fare 8-).<br>

ho risolto il problema!!! Ecco come ho fatto: ho aggiunto il comando "dmesg -n 1" nel file /etc/rc.d/rc.local ed ora i messaggi noisi non mi appaiono più!
