Ciao a tutti !
<BR>Sono di nuovo io a rompere le scatole, ma sono molto sconfortato dai miei insuccessi e quindi spero nel vosto aiuto !
<BR>Sul mio sistema fisso ho una scheda video Sapphire Radeon 9600 Pro su una MB ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe con chipset nforce 2 ultra.
<BR>Ho letto tutte le guide presenti nel sito ed esterne al suddetto persino i consigli dal sito della ati per l´installazione manuale che poi corrispondono a quelle dell´ultima guida, ma non sono riuscito a concludere nulla !
<BR>Ricapitolo il tutto ditemi se sbaglio qualcosa!

<BR>1)Scaricare dal sito della Ati i driver ufficiali ultima versione (Fglrx 4.3.0-3.14.6i386.rpm)

<BR>3)Installare il package con installpkg Fglrx 4.3.0-3.14.6i386.tgz

Quello è il modulo dell´agp gestito dall´nforce 2 (il chipset), non è mica una scheda !!

Il procedimento di ricompilazione del modulo lo devi fare a fglrx inattivo (o quantomeno così ho fatto io!). Quindi fai partire la slack in modalità testo (id 3 nell´inittab) cancella il modulo presente compila il nuovo modulo come descritto, torna a mettere 4 nell´inittab e riavvia. A me così andava<br>
