[ RISOLTO ] Lilo non avvia Windows 7 / VIsta

non riesco a trovare un modo per bootare Windows seven con LILO , ho provato a gestire entrambe le partizioni NTFS ( quella di boot e quella di sistema ) che windows crea ma non riesco proprio ad avviare il sistema , mi si blocca alla solita schermata "NTLDR mancante , premere CTRL+ALT+CANC per riavviare"

qualcuno sa come fare ?

Qualche informazione sulle partizioni del disco e una copia del lilo.conf credo che siano proprio necessarie !

1 disco , 4 partizioni , le prime 2 per Windows 7 in NTFS ( 7 crea 2 partizioni di default ) , 1 per OpenBSD e l'ultima per slackware .

devi rimettere a posto l'MBR di windows e reinstallare lilo (come fare ti è stato già suggerito)

si ma la cosa che non mi torna è : fixata l'mbr di windows lilo dove lo installo ?

Sull'MBR di sda.
Non è lilo che ti ha corrotto l'MBR ma il cambiamento della tabella delle partizioni.

... io ancora non mi spiego bene la tecnica della faccenda , ma comunque ...

ho installato ms-sys sulla slackware da disco che adesso funziona , come mi hai consigliato , e ho dato

( il flag -m era generico per windows perciò ho usato quello per seven ) , ora devo dare solo il comando

Io suggerusco:

1) cd di rescue (o di installazione di windows 7)
2) avviare la procedura di ripristino del boot (quella automatica dovrebbe bastare) in modo da essere sicuri che windows faccia il boot (anche) senza lilo.

3) boot slackware cd huge.s rdinit= root=/dev/sda4 ro
4) configurazione lilo con "boot=/dev/sda4" (ormai metto lilo su mbr solo sui server da parecchio tempo, cioè se non ho problemi di multiboot)
5) lilo -v
6) fdisk /dev/sda; opzioni a 1 a 4 w (rendere attiva la partizione di lilo)

7) reboot

ho avviato il mio sistema facendo il boot con il bootloader del dvd , modifico la riga di lilo.conf e da lilo -v esce questo :

comunque è solo la voce di windows che da problemi , ho provato anche a variare la chainloader tra sda1 e sda2 , mettendo solo sda e sda1 , sda e sda2 , non vuole proprio andare ...

se lascio la voce win commentata lilo va una meraviglia

cioè hai le partizioni sovrapposte, il che non è molto bello.
Per curiosità.. così la prima partizione da 100MB NTFS?

comunque è solo la voce di windows che da problemi

fai la modifica. Prima assicurati che windows parta se escludi lilo (con la procedura che ti dicevo prima)

e mi diceva NTLDR mancante , infatti Vista e 7 gestiscono il boot e il sistema con 2 partizioni diverse , la prima partizione da 100MB circa che vedi è appunto la partizione di boot di Windows 7 e la seguente è quella di sistema .

adesso faccio qualche prova dando alla fine

Come vedi né vista né seven (che in questa macchina convivono alla perfezione) mi usano una partizione da 100M

qualunque combinazione scegli comunque table=/dev/sda; in effetti other credo che deve essere sda1
La mia tabella delle partizioni non si accavalla.
Non ho capito se il tuo windows senza lilo parte o no.

Eventualmente prova a dare

che d'altra parte sono equivalenti per quanto riguarda l'aggiornamento del bootloader

in effetti stando su sda1 il bootloader era da fare così ...
