Problemi con Audio e NetworkManager

Salve, ho installato da qualche settimana (l'ultima settimana di agosto) Slackware 14 a 64bit la versione current ed ho vari problemi:
1° Non riesco ad ascoltare la musica o ascoltare video musicali con qualsiasi software di musica che si trova installato su slackware, su youtube neanche ho provato con (Chromium e firefox);
2° NetworkManager invece mi da questi problemi, se non lo avvio la connessione internet funziona il mio pc ha un indirizzo ip e tutto ok, se lo attivo dando il comando da shell NetworkManager si avvia ma la mia macchina perde il suo indirizzo ip e non è più in grado di riceverne uno e quindi di andare su internet nemmeno se utilizzo la shell o la console quella dove si effettua l'accesso su slackware quando si avvia.

Aiutatemi Ragazzi non so proprio come posso risolvere questi problemi, ora che sono tornato a scuola il pc con Slackware lo uso moltissimo.

salve,
per l'audio, puoi verificare se il sisteme usa la scheda audio giusta, o se il volume di uscita non è su zero/muto.
Magari un po' più di dettagli hardware, sia per l'audio che per networkmanager.

Per il software grafico (KDE) la scheda audio è esatta perché quando si avvia emette il suo classico suono.
