Chromium + pepperflash?

Re: Chromium + pepperflash? Ecco la soluzione!
Hi slacky.eu community
Google's translation from Italian to English is not good enough to understand the discussion properly but it looks as if miklos complains that I never answered a question he askedme in the past? I searched my mailbox for "miklos" and "ardutu" but can not find anything. If there is anything I did (or failed to do) that offended you, miklos, that was not my intention. I just can't remember what it could have been. If you ask your question again I will try to answer it properly.
It also looks like miklos accuses me of stealing his ideas? Does it have something to do with my Google API keys and/or the pepperflash plugin?
It could be the bad google translation, but I can honestly say I did not steal anything from him, or the slacky.eu community. In fact, because this site is in Italian and google does a bad job of translating, I usually do not bother checking here. I used the slackbuilds.org version of chromium in the past to build packages for chromium for private use, but that script was very outdated in its 14.0 version. The slackbuilds.org also did not use Google API keys and therefore the sync did not work out of the box, and furthermore it does not build the Native Client (nacl). I preferred the official Chrome binaries.
I just checked the chromium script in the slacky.eu repository and it appears that there is nothing for Slackware 14.1 yet. The slackware-14.0 version does not have Google API keys and it also definess "-Ddisable_nacl=1" - so it does not build the Native Client.
I was told to check out to this page therefore I am writing this post... in english. If you want to respond please do so in english so that I can understand better what the issue is...

Re: Chromium + pepperflash? Ecco la soluzione!
Is a real pleasure to see Eric on slacky.eu!
Now it's my turn to use google translate
I think miklos not want to accuse you of stealing the idea, but only notice the coincidence
Instead I have to thank you for the package of chromium (and not only). I've tried to do it but the results are not of the same level.
If there were some misunderstandings I'm sure that will be resolved soon

Re: Chromium + pepperflash? Ecco la soluzione!
Hi Eric, nice to see you in our community! We are really pleased.
As you know google translator cannot translate always the right sense of a sentence.
No one accused you of stealing ideas, miklos just underlined the coincidence of the idea.
He had also some questions about your chromium packages (but I think you answered to all his questions).
We can just say THANK YOU for your work with Slackware.
We are sorry for the misunderstanding and we hope that you will continue to follow us (Have you ever tried to learn Italian? ) .

Re: Chromium + pepperflash? Ecco la soluzione!
Hi Eric,
was not my intention to push yourself come here to defend yourself.
But I would like to make it clear that I'm not crazy, surely you'll forget the problem with openjdk you reported more than a year ago publicly on your blog.
That time I was wrong and I wrote an email of excuses and to explain what had happened, also because I'm part of a community that does not have to pay for my mistakes.
But you never replied that email.
Maybe you have not received (but alien at slackware.com I think is the right address), but in any case I would never dare to write certain things otherwise.
About chromium, google translate made a mistake, I never told you stole my idea, I've never build a package with google api key nor pepperflash plugin, but as have written other users I've only noticed the coincidence.
That's it.
Thank you for your work, which for me has always been an inspiring example.

Hi Miklos
I searched my mailbox but I could not find anything relevant around December 2012 and the months that came before that. I also checked my blog articles about OpenJDK and I have no idea to what post, or to what comment, you are referrring... for sure you did not use the nick "Miklos".
I usually answer people's posts, the only thing I can think of is that I selected too many spam posts for deletion and yours got caught by accident.
