[RISOLTO] slackware+dvd noleggiati

ciao a tutti ho un problema con la slack, in problema è che non riesco a guardare i dvd noleggiati con qualsiasi player vlc ecc ecc. ho sempre visto tutti i vari formati non ho avuto problemi con i divx non ho problemi di montaggio/smontaggio del lettore, il pacchetto libcss è installato con le relative dipendenze non so da cosa può derivare il problema. mi date una mano per favore

Da quel che deduco dall'output riportato, il tuo lettore DVD non è il device /dev/hdb...

Forse perché xine e vlc non sono stati ricompilati con le nuove libdvdread e libdvdnav.
Scarica uno slackbuild e prova a farti un tuo pacchetto di xine.
Oppure prova con mplayer.

mplayer mi esce questo

so usare gli slackbuild, e vorrei compilare vlc e xine con libdvdread e libdvdnav mi diresti da dove scaricare lo slackbuild, ho provato dai repo di alien e anche da qui su slack, ma comunque riscontro problemi o di compilazione o con il lettore, per esempio mi sono scaricato sorgenti e slackbuild dai repo di alien ho installato vlc 0.9.8.a, quando provo ad aprire file .vob mi esce questo

poi invece di riprodurre dall'inzio, inizia con vts_01_4.vob cioè dalla fine, poi si blocca o a volte non si sente l'audio e si vede il video o viceversa, invece con file .avi tutto va bene.

con vlc 0.8.6 lo ricompilo con tutte le dipendenze lo installo e quando lo avvio mi dice -bash: vlc: command not found
cioè non riesco a trovare un punto di incontro ho fatto di tutto, non so forse è solo na cavolata ma non riesco a trovare la soluzione.

Io comunque punterei a fare andare xine. A me non ha mai dato problemi coi DVD, mentre MPlayer continua a rifiutarsi di fare andare correttamente i menù.

si infatti mi sono scaricato sorgenti e slackbuild ho compilato e installato e vedo di tutto adesso, comunque grazie per avermi aiutato, per vlc ancora non ho trovato la soluzione ma smanetto ancora per vedere se si decide di andare, mplayer per adesso non mi occorre ma comunque il problema è quella libreria poi cercherò di risolvere.
