WPA_supplicant ndiswrapper psk REMOVED

ho un problema ad usare una scheda DELL 1450 wireless con WPA, ho compilato ndiswrapper ed wpa senza errori ma quando eseguo wpa_supplicant ho questo messaggio:

Credo che il tuo problema risieda unicamente nell'autenticazione EAP che, per il tuo scopo (correggimi se sbaglio), non dovrebbe essere necessaria. Infatti non e' un caso che il supplicant ti dia questo output:

EAP: EAP entering state DISABLED
EAPOL: External notification - portEnabled=0

Questo output ti segnala che la scheda wifi non ha trovato un server EAP per l'autenticazione condivisa della chiave. Quello che ti serve e' una semplice sessione PSK.

Per cui comincerei tutto da capo, a partire dalla fase di compilazione.

Inserisci nel tuo file '.config' solo queste 3 righe:

Quindi procedi alla compilazione.

(Purtroppo qui sul forum non e' possibile mantenere la giusta formattazione degli script...)

Ti consiglio di mettere sotto la voce 'ctrl_interface_group' il nome del tuo gruppo di appartenenza invece di uno '0'.

Prova con queste modifiche e fammi sapere...

Ora il problema e' diverso... il wpa_supplicant funziona egregiamente ma non riesce a ricevere la chiave psk dal tuo access point, per cui e' proprio qui che bisognerebbe agire. Qual e' il tuo Access Point? COme l'hai configurato? C'e' la possibilita' di impostare il time out della chiave wpa sul tuo AP?

l'AP è un belkin ADSL Modem With Built-In 11g Wireless Router F5D7632uk4
nella configurazione di security ci sono le varie opzioni:
- no auth
- WPE 64
- WPE 128
- WPA-PSK
- WPA (with radius)

opzioni di timeout non ci sono, ho notato che anche quando seleziono l'opzione senza autorizzazione ci mette un po' a darmi l'indirizzo.
Con il palmare e windows funziona egregiamente
Io pensavo che la password fosse rimossa dal client.

L'output dice che sul router non e' configurata nessuna chiave...un problema del genere me lo dava anche a me quando avevo messo una chiave troppo corta pero' non credo che questo sia il tuo caso perche' la tua chiave e' di 9 caratteri. Comunque per sicurezza inserisci sia nel wpa_supplicant.conf che nel router una passphrase cioe' una frase abbastanza lunga (la mia e' di 22 caratteri compresi gli spazi)...se non risolviamo in questa maniera non saprei proprio come aiutarti....

anche io ho avuto il tuo identico problema e googlando oggi ho trovato la soluzione, che è stata sostanzialmente "staticizzare" l'ip che mi assegna il mio router wireless tramite dhcp. Sembra una banalità ma assegnando un ip statico nel router in base al mac della scheda wireless ha risolto il mio problema e ora riesco a usare il wpa-psk; per quanto riguarda la lunghezza della pass non penso che importi visto che attualmente uso una pass di soli 8 caratteri. ti incollo il mio wpa_supplicant.conf:
(la versione che uso di wpa_supplicant è la 0.3.9)

ho risolto, probabilmente era la scheda wireless della dell truemobile che per qualche motivo non accettava la psk.
Oggi ho comprato una NIC pcmcia dell belkin e funziona alla grande
