La mia scheda intel è stata oggetto di un altra discussione su questo forum. Comunque i problemi degli ultimi driver intel per X sono problemi grossi che non hanno nulla a che vedere con compiz: continui crash, blocchi del sistema e impossibilità di vedere i filmati con xv di mplayer o xine.
Se spariscono le decorazioni delle finestre allora non è presente emerald o le sue dipenenze. Eventualmente si potrebbe utilizzare kde-window-decorator, ma anche io ho sperimentato i bordi bianchi dovuti alle ombre (disabilitandole nel ccsm va tutto bene, ma le ombre sono carine).
Il mio script, naturalmente, non è necessario ed è anche molto spartano. Lo utilizzo, collegandolo ad una icona nel pannello pricipale, solo per avviare e arrestare compiz ed emerald (non li tengo sempre attivi). In realtà per utilizzarlo bisogna impostare kde affinché non salvi la sessione ogni volta che si esce. Ma, tutte queste informazioni si possono trovare con un search nel forum.

Ti ringrazio ho messo le dipendenze di emerald ma mi compaiono i bordi delle finestre bordo carine per carità ma se volessi cambiarle??? da kde non va!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
